Life On The Road with ALS

ALS Advocacy One Mile at a Time

Ready, Set…Go

As Meg finishes the prep of Big Blue,I reflect on the strength and courage she embodies. Venturing across this beautiful nation of ours, with me in tow. I am in awe and head over heals for her. How could I not be?

These trips are a way for us to spend time together, create memories, and we are blessed to meet so many incredible souls. A secondary effect is crating awareness about ALS. Inevitably, when we venture out to local communities, we encounter someone affected by ALS. Or they ask where we are from, followed by Meg sharing our trip. This opens up an opportunity to share about ALS. One more mind awakened to our community!

We do this, well, because, why not! Life is meant to be shared, and if you’re an optimist like me, you can’t help but share.

Let’s connect on the road.

As many of us prepare to venture out for the summer, I offer the prayer below. And also a reminder of why advocacy is so important.
