Cat-topia

My daughter Kristen has a very special place in her heart for felines. Or, as I call them four-legged fickle critters. She can’t stand to see them abandoned or neglected. This past Saturday, Meg and I stayed overnight at a Harvest Host location: https://harvesthosts.com. Meg and I had the pleasure of meeting Jaimie and her husband, Larry, who work tirelessly to maintain this “Catopia”, this feline haven. Kristen, I’m sure, will visit at some point. The facility has separate areas for the cats, based on background, temperament, and health concerns. As you would have it, they operate entirely off of public generosity as a non-profit. Please consider them when thinking of donating to an organization. Consider this for your birthday or special occasion as an alternative to gifts. If you have a child in need of a civic project, consider a fundraiser for them.

I had the opportunity to interview Jaimie, click the link below to view it.
